A few years ago, when I began practicing meditation and breathwork, something new awakened within me—a sense of childlike wonder that I hadn’t felt in years. This shift transformed my approach to creating art, opening up new avenues for exploration that I hadn’t considered earlier in my career. I rediscovered the joy of drawing, making it a daily habit that brought calmness and joy back into my life.
When the world went into lockdown, I was deeply immersed in my art practice, grateful to have something that brought me much-needed peace during that challenging time. It was in those months of isolation that 0 was born. One afternoon, as I sat on my couch lost in thought, an image kept replaying in my mind—a Russian toy that wobbled but never fell. I couldn’t shake the connection between this resilient toy and my own life story. I knew I had to draw it, but in my own unique way.
